Ovation Preacher Solid Body Electric Guitar / Vintage 1975

Ovation Preacher Solid Body Electric Guitar
 Vintage 1975 WOW!

This is a 1976 Ovation Preacher electric guitar, model 1281. It's made in the USA (Hartford Connecticut) and is an extremely rare solid body STEREO guitar. It's in excellent condition and sounds amazing. It's range is from sweet smooth/mellow to bitting hard rock. Overall, it's a really solid guitar. All the electronics work and the neck is straight. It does have a few nicks here and there and some minor belt-rash. Also there's one (approximately 1/2 inch) knick on the back of the neck but you never feel it while playing.

The Preacher is a unique Ovation solid body that comes with factory stereo and mono outputs in one guitar. You can use the mono output to play as you would any guitar, or activate the built-in stereo output to play through two separate amplifiers or use both channels of a single amp. Any way you go, two separate volume and tone controls will permit you to crate an almost infinite variety of sounds.

Cosmetics: Good Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 45 year old vintage guitar that has been used. There are scuffs, scratches, chips, dings and dents on both sides of the body. Not enough to be called a relic, just a used guitar. Neck and Fingerboard in great shape. Some scratches around the edges of the headstock. Dripping with "Mojo". It is used. Not perfect. Overall, a really nice guitar. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
