Vintage 1976 Fujigen / Ibanez Model 2370!
Hollow Body! Made In Japan!
This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1976 Fujigen / Ibanez Model 2370 Hollow Body Lawsuit Guitar. This guitar was built by Fujigen of Japan. They were the OEM builders for Ibanez, Fender of Japan, Greco, Yamaha, Orville and Epiphone. This is an Unbranded guitar. It is the same model as a Ibanez 2370. It does not have any badging. The only difference is the shape of the Headstock. It is dog eared on each side. Kind of like buying a Chevrolet or a Pontiac. Same vehicle just a different grill. There is a glue mark on the back of the headstock where it probably had some kind of brand logo sticker that is missing. The good news is a Ibanez would set you back around $1500. This one will be a lot less. Has the famous Maxon Super '70 pickups. .....it was a great year for these Pickups! This cool guitar has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound ...the guitar is Pro Setup and plays just great. I love this guitar. All the electronics have been gone over and everything is working on this cool guitar.
These cool Guitars, Made in Japan, were modeled after the cool Gibson ES 335 Model Guitars. This guitar is as close to the Gibson as they could get. It is hollow except for the block under the bridge. The varitone switch activates two tone sounds. Bassy and more bassy.
There is nothing that detracts from the big booming sound of this cool guitar...It has super super low action and it sounds HUGE....If you have never heard these Super 70's Humbucker Pickups...you are in for a treat...They sound great!!..
It looks good, sounds good, and plays good... it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this a lot and have not had one complaint.... It has a few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 9 out of 10 Guitar.. But on a cool scale...its a 12 !!!!!!

Cosmetics: Excellent Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 43 year old vintage guitar that has been used. Both the Top and Back are in Outstanding Condition. There are some light strumming scratches on the pickguard as well as some on the Top. The Back has some scratches and marks from being held next to the players body. Headstock has some scratches and a small chip around the edge. Fingerboard has plenty of life. Gold Hardware is faded due to age. Binding has yellowed again due to age. Dripping with "Mojo". It is used. Not perfect. Overall, a really nice guitar. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
